IN PROGRESS (NOT FINISHED)
***ADD TO ABOUT ME
I am especially interested in developing ChatGPT "Projects" to aid me and others in learning and revising for various subjects. I predominantly utilize AI for business management, biology, and history, for example. My plans for the future include sharing these with my classmates and friends by sharing the framework or directly installing/setting it up on their own devices.
CHATGPT PROJECTS
ChatGPT so-called Projects essentially allow creativity and user-centered (individualized) customization to be near-endless, with ChatGPT following a set of custom instructions, making highly tailored behavior possible. If this is used correctly, for example, in combination with targeted utilization of permanent memory and project files, it opens up endless possibilities. In this instance, I made use of these to establish a highly IB-tailored, more advanced (provides unique features that aid in organization itself and enable students to improve various ATL strands), and especially student-friendly AI (emphasis on advanced capabilities relevant to learning & revision, in particular for the IB) that is based on OpenAI's industry-leading model "5o." This model is, in itself (without the additional features), already a state-of-the-art end-user AI model, thus providing an excellent foundational basis that enables projects such as mine to function.
CAS PROJECT RELEVANCE
For my CAS project, I am considering developing my own GPT. Depending on how the process goes (i.e., planning, research, execution/development, maintenance) or what difficulties I run into, it will either act as a standalone or an alternative to the Project. However, there is also the possibility of me somehow succeeding in integrating (directly or linked via API) the GPT into the Project (possibly an altered version), which, if possible, would allow for unbelievable capabilities.
Regardless of the risk that I may run into difficulties that may make direct integration impossible, I would like to share my vision for this expansive project.
This theoretically outlined and planned GPT would be far more advanced than its predecessor due to For example, I aim to maximize the new capabilities the upgrade from Project to GPT provides, aiming to make significant improvements such as; significantly improved user adaptability capabilities (adapting to the user and their academic strengths and weaknesses, e.g., during revision, the AI will actively identify gaps in knowledge and would try to fill / "combat" these with outputs tailored accordingly) and it would be even further both tailored to and centered around the IB (e.g., past papers, examiner-style feedback, etc.) due to a vast amounts of IB materials that would be implemented, with it being able to conduct further research when necessary (determined by whether or not a set of strict criteria has been fulfilled).
This is made possible due to the increased complexity and possibilities that GPTs introduce. They allow features other than/beyond permanent memory and custom instructions, significantly more user & user-knowledge adaptability, more advanced academic features, and would be even more IB-tailored. The GPT would be available online for free, having its own Website, which would not only provide information on how to set it up and "configure" it to, but would also feature a clear presentation of its features, examples of optimal use-cases, and offer tips on how to utilize it most effectively.
IB Resources is an independent, student-led educational initiative designed to support IB Diploma Programme students through high-quality, structured, and accessible academic resources. The project focuses on creating clear study guides, explanations, tools, and digital systems that help students better understand complex IB content and improve how they study, plan, and reflect on their learning.
The project combines Creativity (designing resources, tools, and digital interfaces), Service (supporting other IB students by making learning more accessible and less overwhelming), and Activity (sustained effort, long-term development, and continuous improvement over time). Rather than being a one-time product, IB Resources is an ongoing platform that evolves based on feedback, testing, and reflection.
Through this CAS project, I have developed skills in planning, communication, digital design, problem-solving, and self-management. I also learned how to take responsibility for a long-term project, respond to real user needs, and improve a system iteratively rather than aiming for a single final outcome. Most importantly, the project allowed me to contribute something meaningful to the IB community while deepening my own understanding of how learning works.
MISSION & VISION STATEMENTS
MISSION STATEMENT
VISION STATEMENTS
I aim to improve on three particular ATL skills most significantly, as these areas are either of particular interest to me, or areas in which I have seen the need for improvement, or that I perceive as of significant importance.
RESEARCH SKILLS: INFORMATION LITERACY
"The ability to find, evaluate, and use information effectively and ethically from various sources. It includes knowing how to select relevant, reliable, credible information and reference it properly."
SELF-MANAGEMENT: ORGANIZATION AND REFLECTION
"The ability to plan, structure, and manage one’s time, tasks, and responsibilities effectively, while reflecting on progress and outcomes to improve learning."
THINKING SKILLS: CRITICAL THINKING
"The ability to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize knowledge and arguments to form reasoned conclusions and solve problems. It involves questioning assumptions, identifying flaws in reasoning, and considering multiple perspectives."
Visual Arts
ChatGPT "Project" Development
Physical Exercise / Strength Training
I want to enable other students (classmates/peers) to improve their learning & revision performance and overall experience.
I want to apply my digital / tech and creative skills by designing so-called WhatsApp "community channels" for Diploma Programme (DP) Students, i.e., Grades 11 and 12. These channels allow more effective discourse and exchange of ideas (general communication) between students in their respective subject/course group chat / "channels" for the individual subjects. Moreover, I want to create a custom-built, IB-tailored AI for my Classmates, in order to improve their learning & revision experience and performance.
MY CREATIVITY GOALS
I want to improve my academic (i.e., learning & revision) performance and overall studying experience. I plan to achieve this improvement in academic performance through the creation and active maintenance (frequent updating) of my own, custom-built and highly IB-tailored AI, based on OpenAI's Model "5o."
Furthermore, I want to apply my digital / tech and creative skills in various CAS projects ("experiences") that I have planned for the near future. For example, I have planned to create so-called WhatsApp "community channels" for Diploma Programme (DP) Students, i.e., Grades 11 and 12. These channels allow more effective discourse and exchange of ideas (and general communication) between students, which is especially important for their chosen subjects. Therefore, subject-dedicated/specific group chats / "channels" exist for the individual subjects. Moreover, I will actively apply my creative skills with these CAS service experiences, such as for these community channels, as a creative aspect is involved in "designing" the individual community channels.
